| Prof. Dr. Gopen Kumar Kundu is a distinguished Pediatric Neurologist in Dhaka. He completed his MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College in 1997, followed by a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) in 2001 from BSMMU. He earned his FCPS in Pediatrics in 2010 and later obtained an MD in Pediatric Neurology from BSMMU. Prof. Kundu began his academic career as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Neurology at BSMMU in 2010, and later served as an Associate Professor from 2014 to 2019. Currently, he holds the position of Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pediatric Neurology at BSMMU. Additionally, he serves as the Director of the Autism and NDDs Cell under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOH&FW) since 2014. His professional training includes clinical fellowships at NIMHANS, PGI Chandigarh, and in South Korea. He has attended numerous international pediatric neurology conferences in countries like Japan, Taiwan, Bhutan, and South Korea. Prof. Kundu authored the book OSPE Paediatrics in 2017, the first OSPE book on Pediatrics in Bangladesh. He has also published over 40 articles in national and international journals and is deeply involved in research, teaching, and academic activities at BSMMU. |
