| Dr. Lutful Aziz graduated from Dhaka Medical College in January 1985. He pursued a PhD in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at Okayama University, Japan, under a government scholarship, completing it in 1995. He then earned a Fellowship in Anaesthesia (FCPS) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1997. Before joining Evercare Hospital as a Consultant, he served as an Associate Professor at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University and was the Academic Coordinator for Post Graduate Studies in Anaesthesia. Dr. Aziz has participated in numerous international congresses on Anaesthesia, ICU, and Pain Medicine, delivering over 75 invited lectures. He has published more than 45 papers in national and international journals and serves on the editorial boards of four journals. As the Founder Member and current President of the Bangladesh Society for Study of Pain, he is a leading expert in various modern anaesthesia techniques, including General, Neuro, and Paediatric Anaesthesia. He specializes in Obstetric Anaesthesia and Labour Analgesia, with a keen interest in Pain Medicine, particularly regional blocks for cancer and chronic pain management. |
